She is in the HSA’s mentorship program and her haiku appeared in the mentorship anthology, The Unexpected Weight. Her haiku/senryu have appeared in Cold Moon Journal, whiptail, Poetry Pea Podcast, and Haiku in Action. She lives in a small rural community outside of Harrison, Arkansas in the Ozark Mountains. Her interests include photography, watercolor, bookbinding, Native American flute, and everything nature. |

She likes to jump into old ponds to pull up lost cargo, mostly in the form of poetry (but not exclusively!). Her art aims at tracing the filters humans apply; as how we see things says more about us than about the things themselves. Being a member of her city’s disability council is one of the means she chooses to empower and support people. Her heart beats for minimalist art, coffee, cuddles & pancakes. |

Vandana Parashar (she/her) is a postgraduate in Microbiology, an educator, and a haiku poet. Her haiku, senryu, and tanka have been published in many national and international journals of repute and have won her many prizes and accolades. Her haiku was also shortlisted for the prestigious Touchstone Award in 2021. She is the Associate Editor of haikuKATHA and is also on the editing team of Poetry Pea. Her debut e-chapbook I Am was published by Title IX Press in 2019. Her second chapbook Alone, I Am Not was published by Velvet Dusk Publishing in April 2022. |

Raghav (he/him) is from Chennai, India and is a longtime student of Shloka Shankar (Editor of Sonic Boom, Founder of Yavanika Press). He loves to read and write haiku, senryu, and other Japanese short forms. His work has appeared thus far in whiptail and Failed Haiku. He also enjoys prose (science-fiction & fantasy) and is currently working on his first novel - an all-ages fantasy adventure with kids, ghosts, magical artifacts, and other assorted weirdness. |
Marcie Wessels (she/her) is the author of two traditionally published children’s picture books. She began writing haiku in March 2020. Since then, her poetry has appeared in numerous journals including Blōō Outlier, bottle rockets, Frogpond, haikuKATHA, Heliosparrow, Kingfisher, Presence, Trash Panda, and whiptail. Several of her poems have even been nominated for The Haiku Foundation’s Touchstone Award! Marcie lives in San Diego, California with her husband and their two children. When Marcie isn’t reading or writing, she enjoys going to the beach, riding bikes, practicing Pilates and ELDOA, and playing word games like Scrabble. |
