A note from the editors:
It occurs to us that the poetry forms highlighted in the first Whiptail Challenges are not regularly written in the current English-language haiku and tanka communities. As such, this issue represents a noteworthy, contemporary repository of English-language one-line tanka and "micro micros" (haiku of four words or fewer and poemwords). We send our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of this issue by submitting, reading, and sharing it. We hope you enjoy the challenge as much as we do!
